How to choose your board !
It’s difficult to choose his board , it takes patience to successfully find the board that will truly shape for you! However, you can consider several criteria like: surf boards should be chosen according to your size, your level of surfing ( beginner, intermediate , advanced) and waves as you go surfing (soft , hollow , fast , slow ... )
• maneuverability: Depending on the board size (dimension : length, width , thickness) and its shape ( the shape of the board )
• stability : depending of the size of the board.
• strength : Depending on the general construction of the board.
It’s easy to start with a board with volume, it will be more stable for the take off.
We recommend starting with a board between 7’0 and 8’4, depending on your template ( between 2,20m and 2,60m ), the model is a mini malibu . The longboard (9’0) and ideal for small waves, however, it’s more cumbersome and difficult to maneuver.
You are regular surfer, you have fun surfing and want to progress. The longboard is the perfect board for small waves, it’s very easy to oar but can be more difficult in larger waves.
Fish: the surf allows to find the advantages of a long board without its inconvenient, he has a very good buoyancy and stability while remaining very handy. It has volume at the front of the board allowing it to have an easy oar and stay efficient in small waves. Small and volume it’s perfect for soft waves as it has a good compromise between maneuverability and stability. You'll find it on sizes ranging from 6’4-6’8 ( 1,90m and 2,10m )
